FTSee is an independent, non-commercial fan project built by an FTC community member. It is not produced, endorsed, sponsored, or affiliated with FIRST®, and "FIRST Tech Challenge," "FTC," and related marks belong to their respective owners. FTSee uses the FIRST Tech Challenge Events API to source public team, event, and match data.

Data accuracy

Team, event, and match records come from FIRST's own public API. Statistics FTSee derives from that data — OPR, rankings, schedule luck, playoff multiplier, and similar calculated metrics — are computed independently by FTSee and are not provided or verified by FIRST. These figures are estimates intended for general interest and scouting reference, not official results. Season data refreshes nightly; live events are polled continuously while in progress, but figures can still lag, be incomplete, or contain errors. Always check official FIRST sources before relying on any number here for a competition decision.

FTSee is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. FTSee and its creator are not liable for any loss, damage, or consequence arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or the data it presents.

What we collect

We don't collect personal data beyond what you can already see on the site. Specifically:

• No accounts, no tracking, no analytics. FTSee doesn't use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking/advertising script, and there's no user account system.
• Recent searches are stored only in your own browser's local storage, purely so your own search history shows up on your own device. This never leaves your browser or reaches our servers.
• Team-submitted info (Instagram handles, team codes, uploaded logos) is voluntarily submitted by teams themselves and is displayed publicly by design — the same way it's already public on the team's own Instagram or FIRST's own event pages.
• Server logs. Like virtually any website, our hosting infrastructure (and Cloudflare, which sits in front of the site) may briefly log standard technical request data (IP address, browser type, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. This is not used to build profiles, sold, or shared, and isn't tied to any account since there isn't one.
• Beta access. If the site is behind a private-beta password, entering it sets a small cookie confirming you've done so — it doesn't identify who you are, just that the gate was passed.

Third-party links

FTSee links out to Instagram and to FIRST's own sites. Those are operated independently and have their own privacy practices, which FTSee doesn't control.
